The United States Army (also known as the U.S. Army for short) is the largest branch, and the backbone, of the United States Armed Forces. It has the best soldiers, vehicles, and weapons known to the United States of America, and perhaps the rest of the world. It performs land-based operations. The Army has several divisions and battalions, and reserves which are part of the United States National Guard. The Army fought in numberous U.S. conflicts, such as the American Revolution, the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Soon, it will have to face the Soviet Union's Red Army, since World War III is near.
